Microdermabrasion is often used as a maintenance treatment for prolonging the results of more aggressive skin treatments. Like macroderm, this too can be performed in weekly sessions to achieve a deeper resurfacing result. With its vacuum-like pressure, a series of microdermabrasion treatments can also be used to help reduce the appearance of stretch-marks by helping to smooth out their texture.
