Juvederm®
No skin testing is required for Juvederm injections since it contains no animal by-products; and results are immediate. It does a great job in lip augmentation and correction of fine lines and wrinkles caused by aging.
It also works well in recontouring the face. As we age we lose elasticity and fat under our skin creating a sagging aged look. Juvederm can be placed in areas like the cheeks and jaw line to restore the natural look to the face.
Results last on average up to 6 months or longer.
Voluma®
Voluma is another hyaluronic acid made by the same company that manufactures Juvederm®. The difference is that Voluma is much thicker and allows for more lifting of the skin. This makes it ideal for places like the cheeks. As the name suggests it is made to help add volume to the face for those who notice that over the years there face is thinner and that the skin has fallen.
Like other injectables it takes 10-15 minutes to perform and results can last up to 1 year.
